Data we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, lesson of interest, preferred format, and message content. When you enrol we may also collect billing contact details, dietary or access notes you volunteer for in-person days, and session attendance records.
Purposes and lawful bases
- Responding to enquiries — legitimate interests in operating a training practice, and steps toward a contract when you request a seat.
- Delivering lessons and follow-up calls — performance of a contract.
- Keeping financial records — legal obligation.
- Optional analytics cookies — consent, where you accept non-essential cookies.
Retention
Enquiry messages are kept for up to twenty-four months unless a longer conversation continues into enrolment. Enrolment and invoice records are retained for six years to meet UK accounting needs. Cookie consent choices remain in your browser until you clear storage.
Processors and transfers
We use email and scheduling providers to communicate with you. If a provider stores data outside the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection in certain cases. You may withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing site storage and revisiting the banner. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Children
Our lessons are aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under sixteen.
