Building a reversal checklist you will actually use
Traders often write twelve-point checklists after a weekend of study and ignore them by Tuesday. The lists fail because they mix analysis with risk rules and vague adjectives such as “strong momentum.”
We recommend five ordered questions that fit on one sticky note: Where is the level? What was the prior swing? Which candle pattern printed? Did the next candle confirm? Is the reward to the next opposing level worth the risk to invalidation?
Each question needs a binary answer. If you cannot answer location, you do not move to pattern. That order prevents the common habit of spotting a pretty engulfing first and inventing support afterwards.
During Private Chart Mentorship we rewrite checklists against your actual trade screenshots. The goal is not literary elegance; it is a list you can still apply when the candle is about to close and your pulse is up.
